Responsibilities

The State of Maine Application Development Group is currently looking for high-level Programming staff (PR5) to support mission-critical systems for the Department of Administration and Financial Services.

This role involves the highest technical level in all phases of applications systems analysis and design activities.

Key responsibilities include formulating solutions to complex business problems using automation technologies, preparing system design plans, and detailed specifications for application systems development and implementation.

Oversight of daily support activities and other development work may be required, with work being performed under limited supervision.

Initial work includes supporting, expanding, and maintaining the DECD Salesforce Grant Management platform and DAFS mission-critical system.

The position is also expected to assist in improving productivity and end-user experience, supporting and resolving the initial platform setup, and aiding in the implementation of applications to increase efficiency, productivity, collaboration, and communication while reducing risk and enhancing security best practices.
