Responsibilities
In the role of SAP Technology Architect, Responsible in designing, developing, testing, and implementing the Objects.
Responsible to develop objects in OOABAP.
Responsible in break-fix and Sustain changes requests through testing.
To be part in the regression testing of objects before moving to production environment.
Implementing Cut over activities, Providing End user trainings and related documentations for approvals with the business.
Participate in requirement gathering discussions along with the business and solution architects. Understand various functional and non-functional requirements. Prepare Effort estimation for the objects to be developed.
Responsible for discussions with the business and solution architects and prepare the solution design document (SDD) and get reviewed with the business.
Responsible in preparing technical design document (TDD) based on the SDD and handover to the peers.
Preparing effort estimates based on the complexity of the objects by using the internal developed RICEFW tool.
Reviewing the objects before moving to PRD. Identify gaps and advise on improvements if required and defined the KT plan Check for the optimization on the object's performance. Preparation of Unit Test Plan based on the Functional Requirements and executing the test scripts.
Code review and performance of the objects can be done by using the tools SM30, SAT and ST05 before moving to production environment.
Developing user functionalities, usability, and potential areas of improvement from the user’s perspective.
Identify any ambiguities or gaps and suggest improvements to ensure the test coverage is optimal.
After completing the hyper care support is completed for the project prepare the KT plan document and handover to the support team.
Design and development of automation tools. Utilizing the developed automation tools for reusability and for better productivity.
Responsible for build and maintain automation frameworks that are scalable and reusable.
Identify areas for automation in the existing business process for better productivity.
Utilizing the developed automation tools in projects like support and implementation for reusability.
Provides technical support and quality control through all stages of operations and projects
Responsible for configuration controlling (CC) related activities, managing Quality/ Delivery Excellence activities such as Service Quality assessment, Process Audits etc. In the projects.
Responsible for implementing plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support for the developed automated tools.
Responsible for resolving the support issues/Defects/Tickets/CR’s in AMS support projects.
Plays key roles in the selection, evaluation and implementation of necessary vendors and technologies.
Responsible to be part of the technical panel list as part of campus hiring and selecting the best and brightest minds.
Responsible for discussions with the Business and product owners in implementing the latest technologies as per the SAP suggested.
Ensuring that the design and deployment of the solution enables the identified business requirements, aligns with IT published process, procedures, standards, and guidelines.
Responsible for tracking the enterprise architecture portfolio and assists project teams to shape architectures consistent with platforms, roadmaps and standards for architect and design.
Responsible for discussion with product managers, and designers to understand requirements and develop the best possible and efficient design document.
Responsible in Analysis, Design, Development and Testing of computer software application systems.
Responsible for Participate in discussions on SOW with functional and business, POC’s for S/4Hana Implementation and SAP ECC projects.
Stays current with technological developments in the marketplace, new advances and features in technologies.
Responsible in Attending the conferences and tech events conducted based on the emerging technologies.
Responsible in implementing learned advanced techniques in the projects and make myself competitive with the market.
Responsible to do SAP certifications every year in the emerging technologies and enhance skills up to date with the market. As I already did SAP certification in ABAP cloud, ABAP on Hana and as well as ABAP NetWeaver 7.0.
With the help of advanced technical solutions, Responsible in Implementing the customized solutions by using cloud based BTP, FIORI and Workflow.
Leads, develops and implements plans to facilitate and coordinate delivery of technical services and support.
Responsible for leading and coordinating with multiple teams like SAP Security, BW, PP, SD and MM to understand their data transfer and Develop objects and authorization requirements.
Responsible for Tracking and evaluate performance against SLA for incidents with L1/L2 teams & collaborate with L3 teams as needed.
Responsible for mentoring the resources, Identify and report bugs or issues using a tracking tool (e.g., Jira) and collaborate with development teams to resolve and assign defects.

Required
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a closely related field.
