Responsibilities

Design and develop data models, including attribute views, analytical views, and calculation views.

Define data sources, transformations, and aggregations.

Optimize data models for performance and scalability.

Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into HANA.

Use HANA's built-in ETL capabilities to create efficient data pipelines.

Troubleshoot and optimize ETL processes.

Create complex analytical views to support advanced analytics and reporting.

Design and implement calculations, hierarchies, and key figures.

Optimize analytical views for performance and query execution.

Manage HANA Studio projects and development environments.

Deploy and transport HANA artifacts.

Troubleshoot HANA Studio issues and performance problems.

Analyze query performance and identify bottlenecks.

Implement performance optimization techniques, such as indexing, partitioning, and caching.

Monitor HANA system performance and take corrective actions.

Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and other team members to understand requirements and design effective solutions.

Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
