Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing of SAP Finance modules.

Write detailed test cases based on user stories or requirements using tools like Rally or Jira.

Ensure proper functionality in areas including AR/AP, Billing, Financial Events, Payments & Postings, General Ledger, and Batch/Job Scheduler.

Required

Minimum of 5 to 7 years dedicated to testing, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP Finance modules.

Proven track record of successfully delivering testing projects within time and quality constraints.

In-depth understanding of SAP Finance modules

Experience with testing invoice verification, payment processing, and reconciliation.

Expertise in testing billing document creation, customer billing, and invoice verification processes.

Knowledge of handling financial closing processes, period-end closing activities, and event-based accounting.

Proficient in testing payment programs, automatic payment processing, and manual postings.

Advanced skills in GL account management, financial statements, and document posting.

Experience with setting up and testing batch jobs, understanding job scheduling tools like SAP's Job Scheduling Workbench (JSWB).

Comprehensive experience in writing test cases, creating test plans, and executing tests for both functional and regression testing.

Ability to use defect tracking systems to document and track issues from identification through resolution.

Must have hands-on experience with testing tools like Rally or Jira for managing test cases, defects, and project tracking.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.

Excellent communication skills to articulate issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

A proactive approach to learning new technologies and methodologies.
