Responsibilities
Writing advanced SQL scripts and queries for data retrieval, analysis, and reporting.
Utilizing HANA SQLScript for procedural logic and complex transformations.
Tuning SQL queries for optimal performance.
Analyzing execution plans and improving database performance using HANA-specific techniques.
Designing and developing calculation views, analytic views, and attribute views in HANA Studio or Web IDE.
Creating efficient data models tailored to business requirements.
Leveraging HANA with other SAP tools (e.g., SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Analytics Cloud).
Connecting HANA to external data sources and applications.
Implementing access control and role-based security in HANA.
Ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.
Monitoring system performance and performing troubleshooting.
Collaborating with IT teams for upgrades and patch management.
