Responsibilities
Configure and maintain SAP HR modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Time Management (TM), and Payroll (PY) for Costa Rica.
Ensure accurate employee master data, salary structures, tax codes, and benefits configurations within SAP.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP HR-related system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Costa Rica employees within SAP HCM/SuccessFactors.
Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations, tax deductions, and reporting requirements.
Partner with external payroll providers and HR teams to validate payroll calculations and address discrepancies.
Reconcile payroll results with Finance and ensure accurate posting of payroll data to General Ledger (GL).
Maintain employee records and HR data in SAP, ensuring compliance with Costa Rica’s labor laws and data protection standards.
Prepare statutory reports related to payroll, taxes, and employee benefits for government authorities.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external payroll and compliance audits.
Identify and implement enhancements to SAP HR processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Participate in global SAP HR system rollouts, upgrades, and migration projects.
Train HR and payroll teams on SAP functionalities and best practices.
Develop and generate custom reports in SAP for payroll, headcount, benefits, and other HR metrics.
Provide actionable insights to HR leadership based on data trends and reports.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience working with SAP HCM or SuccessFactors, with a focus on payroll modules.
Hands-on experience in payroll processing for Costa Rica, including compliance with local labor laws and tax regulations.
Strong knowledge of SAP HR modules (PA, OM, TM, PY) and integration with Finance modules.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot SAP issues.
