Responsibilities

Synthesize a variety of experimental data streams to form testable ideas about the causes of various suspected connective tissue disorders

Design and perform cutting-edge experiments with many human cell lines to solve connective tissue mysteries

Collaborating with ICR's Genomics, Functional Genomics and Biomarkers scientists to elucidate the potential contributions of specific genetic variants to connective tissue disorder phenotypes

Required

An advanced degree in a biomedical sciences field with a demonstrated record of accomplishment in connective tissue disorders

An in-depth understanding of pathobiology and genetics of connective tissue aging and connective tissue diseases including but not limited to hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders

Extensive experience in primary cell culture

Experience with iPSCs and cell-based assays

To have a friendly, easygoing personality

The ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
