Responsibilities

Position serves as a resource in providing training materials for Public Assistance and Medical Assistance Programs to state partners and eligibility site staff as requested.
Position researches eligibility policy, system and procedural operations through available federal and state rules, regulations, and relevant resources to assist in responding to eligibility site inquiries.
In collaboration with other training unit staff, position assists in duties required for keeping the policy and Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) training updated and current.
Position is responsible to provide training for all high level program groups, including SNAP, Cash, and Med programs.
Position supports the development of high quality, comprehensive and accurate training courses and materials within management-established timelines.
Position serves as a direct resource and training representative to the division’s email inbox.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Participated in other projects, initiatives, opportunities, and meetings as assigned.

Required

6 years of professional experience in Eligibility Programs, CBMS and program knowledge (Med, SNAP, Colorado Works, AF).
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Education, Health Policy and Administration, Public Policy, Business Administration or a field of study closely related to the work assignment.
Experience must be clearly documented on your application and the supplemental questions must be answered.

Preferred

Computer skills – Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Microsoft Access, and Google products (Google Doc, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, etc.)
Experience in Training Facilitation
Experience in CBMS and program knowledge (Medical Assistance, Long-Term Care, SNAP, Colorado Works, Adult Financial)
