Responsibilities
Develop and execute SEO strategies tailored for the accounting industry to improve organic search rankings and drive qualified traffic.
Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-value terms and opportunities.
Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog posts for on-page SEO, including metadata, headings, and internal linking.
Perform technical SEO audits and implement fixes for site performance issues, mobile usability, and crawl errors.
Collaborate with content writers to create SEO-friendly blogs, service pages, and other content.
Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and partnerships.
Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
Stay updated on SEO trends, Google algorithm changes, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement.
Generate monthly reports highlighting SEO performance, keyword rankings, and areas for improvement.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, preferably in the accounting or financial services industry.
Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong understanding of technical SEO, link-building strategies, and content optimization.
Familiarity with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
Knowledge of local SEO strategies to enhance visibility for region-specific searches.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
Preferred
Experience with Google Ads and PPC campaigns.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for technical SEO tasks.
Familiarity with accounting-related terms and trends.
