Responsibilities
While maintaining big picture focus for client, the Security Consulting Engineer will regularly work independently on all aspects of customer engagements to successful completion without supervision.
Responsibilities include oversight of the design, development, implementation and analysis of security architectures such as: Cisco NGFW, Palo Alto Strata, Network Access Control (e.g., ISE, ClearPass), Palo Alto Prisma Access, and F5 Networks etc.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors throughout project or program.
Typical tasks may include greenfield implementation, migrations, break/fix, upgrades, loading software maintenance releases.

Required
Deep technical expertise with design and troubleshooting and recommending solutions and/or process changes.
General knowledge of other related disciplines.
Ability to interact frequently with multiple organizations, levels of leadership and external customers.
General understanding of PS business metrics and drivers to help shape client solution approach and team development.
Strong PM input to help shape and guide projects while mentoring junior resources.
Oversight of the design, development, implementation and analysis of security architectures such as: Cisco NGFW, Palo Alto Strata, Network Access Control (e.g., ISE, ClearPass), Palo Alto Prisma Access, and F5 Networks.
Act as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors throughout project or program.
Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and Meraki MX.
Cisco Secure Client, Secure Access, Secure Endpoint and Secure Analytics (at least two required).
Network Access Control (e.g., ISE, ClearPass).
Palo Alto NGFW.
Extensive understanding of complex network design.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong engineering and operational experience in large enterprise networks.
Exceptional at multi-tasking, time management, and remaining flexible in a highly dynamic environment.
Requires strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interact with customers while presenting complex technical issues.
Good cross-functional understanding of technical architectures outside targeted domain to account for required integration points.
Must hold active certifications in one or more of the following certifications: CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, Palo Alto PCNSE, Palo Alto PCSFE.
Preferred
Palo Alto Prisma Access.
EDR/XDR tools.
F5 Networks.
Former professional services and/or consulting experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, computer science, or related field.
Public Clouds (Azure, AWS and GCP) – Just the fundamentals and public cloud routing.
