Responsibilities
Conduct security control assessments to ensure systems comply with federal and industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks.
Evaluate the security architecture and infrastructure of telecommunications systems, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies.
Perform risk assessments and document findings, ensuring risks are communicated clearly to stakeholders.
Prepare security reports and documentation, including Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and System Security Plans (SSPs).
Provide expert advice on best practices for securing telecom systems, networks, and environments.
Develop and implement security test plans and perform assessments on new and existing systems.

Required
Strong background in cybersecurity, preferably within the telecommunications sector.
Deep knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks.
Hands-on experience in the telecom environment.
Ability to conduct security control assessments to ensure systems comply with federal and industry-specific cybersecurity frameworks.
Experience evaluating the security architecture and infrastructure of telecommunications systems.
Ability to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
Experience performing risk assessments and documenting findings.
