Responsibilities

Security Monitoring & Incident Response : Perform regular security monitoring, SIEM configuration, tuning, and log analysis to detect and respond to incidents.

CIS Security Framework Implementation : Contribute to the ongoing implementation of our CIS Security Framework, identifying and closing security gaps.

Vulnerability Management & Policy Maintenance : Conduct vulnerability assessments, enforce security policies, and maintain documentation.

CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) & CSPA (Cloud Security Posture Assessment) : Support cloud security initiatives, managing CASB solutions to protect and monitor cloud environments.

SOCaaS Vendor Coordination : Act as the primary liaison with our Security Operations Center as a Service (SOCaaS) vendor to ensure alignment and integration with our security processes.

CompTIA Security+

Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate

Proficiency with Microsoft security tools and products, Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and familiarity with incident response and CASB solutions.

Ability to work effectively within a team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to maintain a strong security posture.

Excellent analytical skills to identify, troubleshoot, and mitigate security threats.

Strong verbal and written communication skills to document and convey security findings, policies, and reports clearly.
