Responsibilities

Check policy discrepancy checklists against policies, endorsements, and applications

Advise Account Manager of any changes needed

Assist in the renewal process including creating applications, requesting renewal changes from insureds, following up with carriers and insureds, preparing quote presentations, updating Node, preparing binders, processing rush certificates, responding to India team questions, filing in document management system, processing endorsement requests, assisting with finance quote requests and light accounting, researching issues, adapting to insurance carrier rating websites, creating Broker of Record letters, ordering loss runs, completing surplus filings, maintaining a paperless workflow, staying updated on various states insurance guidelines, understanding customer challenges, and working on special projects as directed

Solve problems quickly and effectively, deliver strong customer service, use analytical and critical thinking skills, identify areas for improvement, and communicate effectively with account managers and clients

Forge relationships with account managers and insurance carriers, maintain knowledge of technology-based tools, demonstrate attention to detail, show superior organizational skills, be a self-starter, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate interpersonal skills, excel in computer/internet/Microsoft skills, exhibit excellent time management skills, and promote a culture of respect and safety
