Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.

Perform month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.

Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.

Manage fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and disposals.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax filings.

Utilize Yardi and Workiva software for accounting and reporting purposes.

Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Provide support during audits, including preparing audit schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.
