Responsibilities

Financial analysis and reporting - accounting with our Lisbon subsidiary including consolidation, financial analysis, monthly financial reports, and cash forecasting

Expense support – hands-on management of accounts payable, bank feeds and reconciliations, merchant card activity, cost control and expense monitoring

Policy and Process - perform accounting, finance, and operations policy and process updates and improvements. Integral role in implementing a new accounting and time recording system.

Operational support – perform operational tasks in support of the team that may include travel oversight and financial proposal preparation.

Required

Specialized studies in accounting, finance, or related fields

3+ years of intermediate to advanced level of knowledge and experience in accounting (required)

You know your way around a chart of accounts, with journal entries, and with financial statements and analyses; solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP

Experience using financial and team collaboration/management software (ie Quickbooks, ERP’s, bank feeds, treasury management, G-Suite, GitHub, Slack, Hubspot, etc)
