Responsibilities

Produce business unit financial statements and management reports

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and support other month-end close processes

Calculate revenue recognition by project

Monthly revenue review with Account Services department, including review of variances to forecast

Monthly input of revenue with percent complete and manual JEs

Produce monthly time utilization reports for both US and European entities

Calculate payroll reclassification entries (overhead/cost of sales)

Produce quarterly commission calculations and statements

Monthly review of final reconciliations by project produced by the Account Services department

Monthly analysis of expense variances from budget

Participate in external audit

Ensure compliance with internal policies and controls

Ad hoc accounting projects as assigned

Assist with the development of policies, procedures and internal controls as requested

Required

Bachelor's degree in accounting required

CPA certification required

Must be very fluent in G/L software systems, as well as highly proficient in Excel

Possess a good working knowledge of current technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations (acquisitions), etc.

Possess a desire to benchmark and improve current processes to make them better (more efficient, more automated, less risk of error, etc.)
