Responsibilities

Prepare month-end close journal entries (which may include but are not limited to payroll, vacation accrual, cash, rent, debt, stock based comp, intangibles, prepaid assets, fixed assets, allocations, consolidation, commissions)

Investigate monthly fluctuations and variances

Maintain and reconcile certain balance sheet and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis

Assist in government surveys, statutory audits, and consolidated audits

Offer feedback on our current processes and suggest process improvements through automation

Assist in preparation of monthly reporting package

Assist in implementation of new accounting standards

Assist in daily cash application for AR

Manage/maintain our month-end close software

Cross functional support on ad hoc projects
