Responsibilities

Review monthly financial results compared to budget and provide variance analytics.

Prepares complex journal entries with supporting documentation as assigned.

Partner with internal departments to present monthly financial results and assist with monthly commentary.

Coordinate with Revenue Cycle Department to ensure monthly revenue is accounted for correctly and maintain A/R reconciliations.

Reconcile assigned balance sheet reconciliations in line with best practice and internal controls.

Conducts all necessary analysis and research to facilitate month-end close.

Provides information and assistance to facilitate the completion of annual financial statement audits.

Prepares board presentation materials and other ad-hoc reports as needed by Management.

Maintains systems and controls that verify the integrity and accuracy of all financial systems, processes, and data.

Develops, establishes, and maintains a work priority system to ensure daily and heavy workloads are fulfilled.

Is a resource to Staff Accountant for complex issues.

Maintains strict confidentiality regarding all employee and financial information.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

3 years of related work experience

Computer skills including Excel, Word, and general ledger systems

Preferred

CPA

5 years of experience

Experience with NetSuite

Healthcare finance experience
