Responsibilities
Prepare and record monthly journal entries
Perform month-end close responsibilities including reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Reconcile inventory accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
Collaborate with other members of the Financial Reporting team and other departments
Work with Controller on special projects, annual audit and budget preparation

Required
B.S. in Accounting
2-4 years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in public accounting auditing
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficient in accounting software, with experience in QuickBooks highly desirable
Advanced Excel skills and ability to learn new technologies
Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail for accurate financial reporting
Good communication skills (willing to give and receive constructive feedback)
Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments accurately and within established time constraints
Preferred
CPA license not required but strongly preferred
