Responsibilities

Support most aspects of accounting management (GL, AR, AP, sales, expenses, reporting etc.)

Prepare financial data and ledgers in a timely and accurate manner

Collaborate with all members of the accounting team and cross functionally as needed

Perform month-end close procedures including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations for more complex accounting areas

Researches, analyzes, and uses independent judgment in a variety of daily and non-routine decisions affecting assigned function

Review journal entries prepared by Staff Accountants. Record journal entries for more complex accounting areas.

Help in the preparation and completion of financial audits

Assist in developing reports for management and/or outside parties

Review the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

Utilize accounting IT system (NetSuite) to streamline processes and maintain accurate records

Support the Corporate Controller and work directly with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and consistency
