Responsibilities
Manage software and services revenue recognition, including ASC 606
Review contract terms and set up project codes, revenue formulas, and billing formulas in the Oracle accounting system
Develop project reporting and performance analysis to enhance profitability, including reviewing project financial performance, revenue recognition, and billing progress for both domestic and international projects
Oversee client management duties such as invoicing and communication with project managers and clients as necessary
Demonstrate initiative by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes
Generate monthly inter-company transactions
Handle more complex projects and provide assistance to other project accountants
Support month-end close processes
Prepare account reconciliations
Assist the Revenue Manager/Director with ad-hoc reporting
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in engineering consulting, technology, or related industries
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office systems, especially Excel and Word
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Exceptional time management abilities with the capability to manage multiple tasks
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills
A team player who can identify and initiate process improvements
An interest in sustainability and a passion for making a meaningful impact on the environment.
Preferred
Demonstrated experience in a team leadership role
Oracle experience is a plus
Inventory and Software Accounting experience is a plus
