Responsibilities
Oversee the preparation of monthly financial reports, and establish and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and controls for clients.
Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models across various business types, including e-commerce and professional services.
Design and develop business performance reports and custom financial and operational KPI dashboards, delivering monthly KPI updates.
Connect analytical insights with a deep understanding of business operations and industry trends to offer actionable recommendations.
Engage with clients to identify and execute analytical and modeling projects beyond standard budgeting and performance reviews, providing additional value.
Analyze data to uncover strategic insights and broader business conclusions, leveraging industry knowledge and pattern recognition.
Offer strategic recommendations and insights to clients based on scalable best practices to enhance results, streamline processes, optimize costs, and drive revenue growth.
Conduct monthly variance analysis, comparing actual results against budgets and continuously updated forecasts.
Collaborate closely with the bookkeeping team to review and verify monthly financial deliverables, thus ensuring client satisfaction.
Conduct periodic reviews of client files to continuously refine best practices.
Oversees the Bookkeeping team, including both US and internationally based staff.
Delegate tasks to ensure efficient and cost-effective resource allocation.
Manages workload and client distribution across both US and international team members.
Actively engage in professional development and mentorship to enhance technical skills and competencies for both the team and the firm.
Continuously seeks ways to improve quality across the vertical to ensure high-standard deliverables.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Must have experience working with multiple clients at the same time
Knowledge of Full Cycle Accounting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
3-5 years of recent experience using Quickbooks Online
Experience in accounts payable and receivable
Experience in bookkeeping and general accounting tasks
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Advance degree in accounting preferable
Experience in the creative industry is a plus
QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise, QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage Intacct, Navision, Great Plains, Navision (Microsoft Dynamics), Net Suites
