Responsibilities

Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy

Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations

Maintain and improve accounting policies and procedures

Manage revenue recognition processes in compliance with ASC 606

Oversee billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing

Reconcile revenue accounts and maintain deferred revenue schedules

Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Ensure compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards

Implement and support a company wide budgeting process

Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets

Manage treasury operations and process bill payments

Assist with external audits, corporate and sales tax filings

Build a team of junior accounting staff as company scales

Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial operations
