Responsibilities
Compile and cleanse data in preparation for actuarial analyses using scripting languages such as R, SQL and Python etc.
Develop innovative analyses and models to quantify and help mitigate risks of autonomous driving
Independently own pricing / reserving responsibilities to support Waymo's insurance program and risk management needs
Take ownership of end-to-end analysis from data gathering, processing, analyzing, deliverables, and presentations
Work with cross-functional teams to identify interesting questions and communicate findings

Required
Advanced degree in statistics, math, actuarial science or related areas
Code fluency in R or Python and SQL, and proficiency in analytical tools (e.g. Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel)
7+ years of experience in casualty pricing and reserving of commercial auto lines
FCAS or ACAS
Preferred
Strong background or advanced degree in statistics
ERM Actuary or CERA
