Responsibilities
Enhance product quality and manufacturing processes through leadership in quality system development, inspection plan approval, and data-driven process improvements
Lead the Zero Defect Program, conduct AS 9100 audits, and manage part development from inception to qualification
Perform APQP evaluations, manage RMA/AR programs, and collaborate with suppliers for process improvement
Conduct calibrations, analyze data for anomalies, and report KPIs and QMS status to executive management
Lead Material Review Boards and recommend improvements in monitoring equipment and procedures

Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
7+ years in Aerospace Electromechanical manufacturing
5+ years in Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Six Sigma Black Belt certification
3+ years using Lean and Six Sigma tools and CI principles
Experience with APQP methodology (PPAP, FAIR, MTR, DFMEA, PFMEA, CP)
Proficiency in quality analysis software (Minitab, JMP, QiMacro, Spc for Excel, etc.)
Familiarity with AS 9100 Aerospace Quality Management System
Knowledge of CMM and technical inspection devices
Understanding of QSys and compliance review of customer POs for manufacturing flow down
Solid GDT understanding and ability to read engineering blueprints and technical specifications
Effective communication across all organizational levels
Strong analytical problem-solving skills using Six Sigma and quality analytical tools
Preferred
Expertise in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and AS 9100 Lead Auditor certification
