Responsibilities

Support short and long-term forecast processes including real-time tracking, reporting and variance analysis
Summarize key findings into clear and concise takeaways and presentations for Board of Directors, executives, investors and other key business leaders
Undertake special projects to support strategic initiatives, in collaboration with various internal teams including strategy, finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams
Build and maintain complex company operating models with multiple scenarios to evaluate hiring, investment and other operational initiatives
Prepare materials for financial review meetings, highlighting variances to forecasts and using insights to drive operating decisions
Utilize financial planning tools and systems (Oracle EPM and other BI tools) to maintain accurate and complete financial information, facilitate workflows, and ensure timely deliverables
Assist with OPEX forecasting, consolidation and variance analysis, as required
Design reports and dashboards to track and report key performance metrics
Assist the Investor Relations team with a range of activities, as needed
Perform financial due diligence for various corporate finance transactions
Continuously take on additional responsibility to improve processes, reporting and procedures, and take on other duties as needed to assist the team

Required

Bachelor's or graduate degree (or professional certification) in an applicable field (finance, accounting, economics, etc.)
4+ years of experience in a sophisticated financial role (Big 4 accounting, investment banking, FP&A/corporate finance, private equity, equity research, etc.)
Strong understanding of corporate finance and accounting concepts, including three statement models, valuation techniques, working capital and cashflow modelling
Proven track record building meaningful financial models and ad hoc analyses to distill complex problems into digestible insights
Excellent communicator (both written and verbal), with the ability to present to senior management in a clear, concise manner
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to deal with ambiguity and assist in the development of project objectives and requirements
Exceptional analytical acumen & attention to detail
Strong business sense, with the ability to understand changing industry forces and focus on relevant KPIs
Advanced financial and operational modeling skills in Excel
High personal and professional integrity, with a willingness to dig into anything and everything to support the business
Low ego team player with grit and positive, proactive attitude; willingness to roll up sleeves and help colleagues as needed

Preferred

Experience in digital media, internet or data companies a plus, but not required
Experience with, or interest in learning, database (SQL, Vertica, etc.), data visualization software (Tableau, etc.) and financial planning software (Oracle EPM)
