Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality build and release pipelines using automation tools and scripts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and enhancements.

Develop and manage platform engineering solutions to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

Optimize and refactor existing code to improve efficiency, maintainability, and performance.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.

Stay current with industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.

Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required

5+ years of experience in software development and build/release engineering.

Strong proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash).

Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).

Solid understanding of CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub actions and Azure DevOps pipelines.

Proven experience in platform engineering, including designing and implementing scalable and reliable systems.

Strong understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience with logging and monitoring using Azure Application Insights and OpenTelemetry.

Experience with developing applications using .NET and JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular.

Preferred

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of microservices architecture.

Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).

Experience with automation of application testing.
