Responsibilities

Plan, perform, document and review control design and tests of operating effectiveness

Identify and investigate potential findings and present conclusions

Coach and mentor less experienced staff

Work closely with and serve as a liaison between the Audit Services team, Symetra business personnel and external auditors

Provide general department support and participate in special projects, operational audit or consulting engagements, training and other department or company initiatives. Assignments may include engagement planning or research, test plan development and execution, process improvement initiatives, procedures updates, internal reporting and data analytics, or various other department supporting processes.
