Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day AWS server and client operations to include backups and provisioning of all types of AWS storage required 3 years.
Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and more.
Automate cloud deployments and management tasks using Python and Boto3, with an emphasis on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications and optimize performance.
Implement and manage cloud security policies, roles, and permissions using IAM.
Monitor and optimize cloud services for cost and performance, using tools like CloudWatch, AWS Config, and CloudTrail.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
Write and maintain clear, concise documentation of cloud architectures, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
Stay current with AWS services, best practices, and new features.

3 years of experience managing day-to-day AWS server and client operations to include backups and provisioning of all types of AWS storage.
3 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, and more.
3 years of experience automating cloud deployments and management tasks using Python and Boto3, with an emphasis on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
3 years of experience collaborating with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications and optimize performance.
3 years of experience implementing and managing cloud security policies, roles, and permissions using IAM.
3 years of experience monitoring and optimizing cloud services for cost and performance, using tools like CloudWatch, AWS Config, and CloudTrail.
3 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
3 years of experience writing and maintaining clear, concise documentation of cloud architectures, automation scripts, and operational procedures.
3 years of experience with AWS serverless technologies and orchestration tools for building scalable and automated cloud native solutions.
3 years of experience installing, configuring and supporting SUSE, Red Hat, Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, 2022, and associated software in both physical and VM environments.
3 years of expertise with AWS cloud platform tools for data and process monitoring.
3 years of experience with AWS account, roles, and permission configuration and administration.
Expertise in networking architectures and interconnectivity options [e.g., IP VPN, multiprotocol label switching (MPLS), virtual private LAN service (VPLS)].
1 year of experience troubleshooting connectivity issues from client software/device through to ISP.
1 year of previous experience in supporting Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, group policy and VPN.
BS in information technology, Computer Engineering, Cyber Security, or related field.
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Cisco CCNP certification and/or CISSP.
Minimum 5 + years of related work experience.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in implementing, administering, and maintaining applications hosted in AWS.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing optimization and automation of hosted applications using AWS native cloud services and/or 3rd party cloud tools.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience administering and supporting end-user access and use of hosted applications using desktop as a service (DaaS), such as Workspaces.
Minimum of five (5) years of experience implementing and administering security controls and protocols on end points within an AWS cloud environment.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Requires ability to work both independently and in a group environment.
Experience with MS Office tools such as MS Word, Excel, Visio, and Project. Must be able to prepare technical documentation using these and other tools.
Preferred
Linux administration experience is highly desired.
Support of AWS server/client-based hardening requirements is highly desired.
Additional IT Certification preferred MCSE, VMWare VCAP, Palo Alto PCNSA- Certifications in these areas will be a consideration to cover both experience and the degree requirement.
Experienced in routing/switching, VLAN, security, and/or wireless (Ubiquity experience a plus).
Routing protocols EIGRP, OSPF, BGP and operations experience a plus.
A working knowledge of cabling standards –copper, fiber, ethernet, etc.
SD-WAN, remote access, and SSL VPN experience.
Cisco ASA & Fortinet firewall experience is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional work outside of regular hours Highly desired.
