Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement backend services using Django, Python, and PostgreSQL.
Integrate external APIs to enhance the functionality and interoperability of our systems.
Work closely with our data science team to improve and implement our AI models.
Manage and optimize our vector database to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.
Conduct code reviews and tests to ensure the quality of the code.
Document the design, code, and functionality of the systems for future reference and other team members.

Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven work experience as a Backend Developer or similar role in software development.
Experience with Django, Python, and PostgreSQL is a must.
Experience with AI models, machine learning algorithms, and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
Experience with vector databases and understanding of their specific requirements and challenges.
Proven experience with third-party API integrations and understanding of how to effectively use APIs to enhance system functionality.
Strong coding skills and the ability to write clean, effective, and scalable code.
Preferred
Knowledge of AI model integration into backend systems is a plus.
