Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the client to address their business needs

Design and maintain multi-tenant systems and external APIs

Support current business partner and facilitate HTS partner integrations worldwide

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to realize partner's vision

Drive decisions and consensus asynchronously with documentation

Design and implement internal and external facing APIs

Work with PMs and business partners to define and refine roadmap

Collaborate cross-functionally for growth

Required

5+ years of professional full-time in software engineering with a focus on backend development

A passion for product-focused delivery rooted in ownership and stewardship

Strong communication skills that facilitate consensus across disciplines, inside and outside of an organization

Proficiency with any strongly typed language such as Scala, C#, Java, Go, Kotlin, et cetera

Experience with microservice heavy ecosystems

Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Pub./Sub)

Experience working with gRPC/Protobuf

A demonstrated history of enterprise scale system design

Proficiency working in multiple cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Solid problem-solving and debugging skills, with the tendency to want to automate repetitive tasks to make things easier going forward

A passion for writing testable code and testing it - Knows what to test, what not to test, and what kinds of tests matter
