Responsibilities

Develop features and build infrastructure to integrate with external platforms like Amazon, Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce
Build and maintain high-quality APIs for eCommerce, focusing on tracking orders, order placement, returns, and search engines
Stand up new infrastructure on GCP, Netlify, etc.
Write high-quality documentation for developer customers
Work independently and communicate updates proactively with a remote-first team

Required

5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with some experience working in a fast-paced startup environment
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js is highly desirable (or similar)
Experience building systems with a GraphQL API and a gRPC backend system
Strong understanding of best practices in software engineering and API development
Interest is working with customers and providing high-quality technical documentation
Excellent communication skills, growth mindset, thoughtful, and ability to work independently under tight timelines

Preferred

Working knowledge of external platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, and BigCommerce is a plus
