Responsibilities
Apply diversified engineering principles and practices to bridge engineering operations in Michigan.
Lead design work and engage in client interactions, potential business development, and project management responsibilities.
Assist in educating and developing design staff, act as a resource for design questions.
Participate in interpreting, updating, and creating Standards of Practice.
Perform QA/QC on drawings, may act as quality coordinator for discipline-led projects.
Serve as Bergmann contact for clients, design professionals, and contractors.
May stamp/sign drawings or reports, serve as Engineer of Record for projects.

Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Registered as a PE is required
7 or more years of Bridge Engineering experience
MicroStation, Midas Civil, LEAP Bridge experience
Willing to work independently and with others as a team member
Interested in developing coaching and leadership skills
Communication skills are a must
Preferred
Master's Degree is preferred
Prior DOT experience is highly preferred
Civil 3D experience is a plus
