Responsibilities

Identify and validate business needs and application requirements

Manages user stories and features related to the application requirements

Prepares materials for the development and operations teams to use in program increment planning

Support project managers with managing the client relationship and deliverables

Work with stakeholders to define product vision and application requirements

Attend requirements gathering meetings with the client to identify business needs, functional and system requirements

Participates in Agile Development process

Collaborate with the development and testing team to ensure implementation of the needed business, functional and system requirements

Provide regular and open communication across the program and stakeholders for transparency and awareness of progress and impediments

Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies

Drive delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity

Communicate requirements to developers, testers, and stakeholders

Demonstrate product functionality to stakeholders

Required

US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.

Bachelors degree with at least 10 years of work experience.

Experience managing requirements and backlog and converting requirements into user stories required.

Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services Cloud Services, Integrated Data Repository (IDR), and CMS enterprise tools (e.g., Jira) required.

Agile certifications required.

Demonstrated ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items.

Knowledge and experience of Agile software development methodology

Demonstrated ability to work with engineering and analytics teams to discuss technical concepts, make tradeoffs to remove roadblocks, and evaluate new ideas

Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication required
