Responsibilities

Collaborate with business units to elicit, analyze, and prioritize complex business needs for transportation-related projects.

Serve as the central liaison between the Transportation team and IT project teams, ensuring alignment with district-wide goals.

Create detailed business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and process flow diagrams to support key decisions.

Oversee testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure all solutions meet stakeholder expectations.

Document critical processes, lessons learned, and improvement strategies for future initiatives.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

5+ years of experience in business analysis, IT, and the transportation industry

Proven ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams

Proficiency with business analysis tools, process modeling, and project management methodologies

Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to distill technical concepts for a business audience

Preferred

Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field

Public sector experience

Agile experience

Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

Project Management Professional (PMP)
