Responsibilities

Prospecting assertively, including significant efforts in both cold and warm calling.
Leveraging social media (LinkedIn Navigator) to work your prospect network.
Leveraging existing consultant and industry relationships for opportunity creation.
Capitalizing on internal lead generation activities (industry events, webinars, social media).
Maintaining all activity information in Salesforce including meeting notes, contact information, proposal status and personal contacts lists.
Following prescribed sales processes for identifying, nurturing, and closing business.
Demonstrating expert level of knowledge of Health Advocates primary product set and competently presenting to both employers and consultant/brokers.
Established broker relationships preferred.

Required

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in business administration, marketing, or a related field required.
Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business-to-business development.
Proficiency in working with Salesforce and the full suite of Microsoft software (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required).
Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in making sales phone calls, engaging in internal meetings, and taking responsibility for sales follow ups.
Ability to prepare, lead and present sales presentations and occasional public speaking.

Preferred

Established broker relationships.
Experience selling employee health related products or benefits brokerage preferred but will consider other enterprise-level sales backgrounds.
Proven success selling to large companies at C-level and VP level preferred or selling into and through national brokers.
