Responsibilities

Work with internal stakeholders to identify requirements and develop sourcing strategies for each assigned category

Lead all sourcing activities for assigned indirect spend categories and assess potential suppliers

Prepare thorough cost evaluations for sourcing projects and provide award recommendations

Manage end-to-end implementation activities for approved initiatives and ensure compliance with Sila processes

Partner with Legal to create contracts, negotiate terms, and review contract renewals

Own the approved vendor list for indirect spend suppliers and establish key metrics dashboard for spend, cost savings, performance, compliance, and risk monitoring

Support Data Systems in executing a multi-year roadmap for Sila's SaaS direction and assess the SaaS product landscape

Continually assess Sila's indirect supply base for consolidation opportunities and improved performance

Required

10+ years experience in a strategic sourcing or category manager role across various indirect spend categories noted above

Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, engineering, or supply chain

Demonstrated track record in supplier negotiation covering commercial objectives and Terms & Conditions across multiple contract types

Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to synthesize and report out both verbally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to foster strong working relationships with internal stakeholders in terms of capturing requirements and delivering robust solutions
