Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Junior Financial Planner and other team members to develop comprehensive financial plans for clients, including retirement planning, tax strategies, investment management, estate planning, and risk management.
Work closely with the tax department to integrate tax strategies into clients' financial plans, ensuring tax efficiency and compliance.
Partner with the investment department to align clients' portfolios with their overall financial goals and risk tolerance.
Provide ongoing financial planning support, including regular updates and adjustments based on changes in clients' personal or business circumstances.
Identify opportunities for cross-selling additional services (investment management, tax planning, estate planning, etc.) to clients.
Work closely with the business development team to help attract new clients and expand relationships with existing clients.
Provide guidance and mentorship to the Junior Financial Planner, assisting with the development of their skills and knowledge in financial planning.
Stay up-to-date on tax laws, regulations, and financial planning strategies to provide the most effective guidance to clients.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor and primary point of contact for financial planning matters.
Engage in business development activities to attract new clients and expand the firm’s reach.

Required
Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation is required.
Strong understanding of personal and business tax planning, including tax-efficient strategies for individuals and businesses.
4+ years of experience in financial planning, with a focus on comprehensive, holistic planning.
Proven experience working with tax professionals and investment advisors to integrate strategies into client plans.
Strong business development skills with the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and attract new clients.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and approachable manner.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously.
Preferred
Enrolled Agent (EA), CPA, or actively working toward CPA/EA designation is highly preferred.
Experience with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, etc.) is a plus.
