Responsibilities

Perform technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications for cloud computing environments.

Develop specifications for new IT cloud computing products and service offerings.

Assess the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies.

Begin to influence department’s strategy.

Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required

Bachelor's degree

5 or more years of technical experience

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Knowledge of Infrastructure Networking Best Practices

Experience with virtualization and orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes

Board understanding of coding and programing language best practices

Ability to conceptualize and create high level designs for software systems

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work with development teams to identify and improve existing implementations

Proficiency with design patterns and architectural styles

Knowledge of Cloud design and deployment in any of the following spaces: Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services

Preferred

Experience working with large enterprise projects

Familiar with the Appian platform for production deployments

Experience with Data Streaming and Data Lake platforms

Foundational knowledge of Java, .NET, Cobalt, or Python.

Experience with automated deployment pipelines
