Responsibilities

Translate project-specific needs into a cloud solution considering automation, performance, security, and cost.

Design the cloud environment to meet company requirements, goals, and standards.

Automate deployment, maintenance, monitoring, and management tasks within cloud solutions.

Train and guide SRE teams to support cloud solutions.

Create self-service and automated environments to reduce administration overhead.

Collaborate with product owner, solution architect, and application developers to provision cloud environments.

Orchestrate and automate cloud-based platforms based on standards.

Follow security management specifications and workflows, and operate and automate security management.

Work closely with teammates in day-to-day agile development and maintenance activities.

Identify and initiate changes to improve cloud operation efficiency.

Required

Master's or Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent job experience.

5+ years cloud or infrastructure related work experience.

AWS Professional certification is strongly desired with hands-on working experience in AWS.

Solid knowledge and experience of software development, build, deployment, and operation.

Skills and experience to translate application requirement into cloud infrastructure architecture.

Demonstrated experience writing Infrastructure as Code

Demonstrated experience in containers, Kubernetes and serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda.

Experience building HA, scalable, resilient systems in the cloud.

Good understanding of networking principles as it applies to cloud infrastructure.

Good understanding of the DevOps model and agile project management.

Excellent troubleshooting and analytics skills.
