Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage robust cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Collaborate with development teams to define infrastructure requirements and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.
Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline cloud operations and ensure efficient use of resources.
Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud-based applications and services.
Lead cloud engineering efforts, encompassing tasks such as monitoring, alerting, incident management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery.
Monitor cloud infrastructure for performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and other potential problems.
Perform regular maintenance tasks, including patch management, updates, and backups.
Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and quick response to incidents.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Create and regularly update documentation for best practices, encompassing system architecture diagrams, standard operating procedures, and runbooks.
Ensure the security of cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices for data protection, access control, and encryption.
Maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as CIS, and NIST.
Carry out routine security evaluations and inspections to detect and address potential risks.
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and modules for all cloud environments, including Azure, AWS, and Google.
Utilize infrastructure-as-code frameworks like Terraform to automate the deployment, upgrading, and maintenance of infrastructure.
Strive to implement a self-service model across all cloud platforms and features by leveraging modules and utilizing no-code deployments.
Work together with development teams to engage in code reviews, improve performance, and manage application deployment procedures.
Use monitoring tools, logging systems, and other metrics to analyze system and application performance, identify issues, and improve overall performance.
Collaborate with development teams to offer infrastructure support and guarantee smooth integration of cloud services.
Work alongside IT and security teams to create and implement cloud policies and procedures.
Offer technical assistance and direction to team members and stakeholders concerning cloud-related matters.
Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in cloud platform engineering, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve our systems and processes.

Required

A minimum of five years of professional experience with Microsoft Azure is required.
Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of experience working with Terraform.
Expertise in multiple DevOps domains, including Terraform, Yaml, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Extensive experience with networking engineering principles and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls.
Several years of proven expertise in at least one configuration management tool, including Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SCCM, or Intune.
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or substantial relevant industry experience.
Multiple years of professional experience with Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud.
Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes.
Several years of experience in System Administration, System Engineering, or equivalent roles.
Familiarity with tools for incident management, performance monitoring, and capacity planning.
Exceptional in troubleshooting and resolving issues, with a strong capacity to promptly identify, articulate, and fix technical problems.
Proactive and driven person with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent team-oriented interpersonal abilities; adept at interacting proficiently with a diverse range of individuals.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities; adept at collaborating with individuals at various levels within an organization.
Proactively identify and foresee business needs, offering recommendations for implementation.
