Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, overseeing collections activities for clients with outstanding balances in the millions.
Develop and implement strategies for reducing delinquent accounts and maintaining low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) through proactive outreach and follow-up.
Negotiate payment terms and resolve payment discrepancies, establishing tailored payment plans to meet client needs while securing company interests.
Monitor and assess credit risk for high-value accounts, working closely with the finance and sales teams to proactively manage risk and escalate problematic accounts.
Identify systematic solutions to make the AR collections process more efficient (for example, using the Oracle Collections Module for tracking and reporting)
Build and maintain relationships with key clients to facilitate effective collections and ensure an ongoing dialogue for account resolution.
Act as the primary contact for escalated collections issues, providing professional and timely responses to client inquiries and disputes.
Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders on collections strategies, providing insights on account health and recommending approaches for maintaining positive client relations.
Adhere to Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) guidelines, ensuring all collections activities are conducted ethically and transparently.
Familiarity with (SOX) standards and requirements
Comply with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) for all relevant transactions, ensuring customer data privacy and security.
Collaborate with internal departments (finance, sales, customer service, legal) to streamline collections processes, enhance cash flow, and resolve complex account issues.
Lead efforts to improve collections workflows, establishing best practices for efficiency and scalability, and suggesting system enhancements to meet department goals.
Prepare and analyze monthly collections reports, tracking key metrics such as recovery rates and DSO, and presenting insights to management to drive strategic decision-making.

Required
7+ years of experience in collections, credit management, or a related field, with a focus on managing multi-million-dollar accounts.
Proven track record in reducing delinquency rates and improving collections performance.
Experience with Oracle Fusion Collections Module.
Advanced communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage complex client relationships effectively.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel for collections tracking, reporting, and analysis.
High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
