Responsibilities
Successfully complete client projects by meeting client goals and timelines while communicating with client timely and accurately.
Identify and document functional, data and technical requirements related to portfolio management, trading, investment operations, accounting, performance and client reporting processes
Perform data conversion activities including mapping and transforming data from legacy systems into future state systems using data transformation tools
Validate and scrub converted data investigating and resolving variances between systems
Design optimized future state business processes and configure vendor tools to enable
Develop and execute test plans and test scripts to validate system configuration meets requirements
Assist with implementing data governance for data domains; design business nomenclature, taxonomy, and business glossaries
Collaborate and assist Cutter Knowledge Groups and Cutter Research with the production of in-depth, high-quality research and benchmarking reports, content for articles, newsletters, and whitepapers.

Required
Six years or more experience in investment management
Experience as a business analyst or team member in front-office processes and systems that help with trade generation, order management, trade communications, portfolio management, and research management
Experience in operations processes and systems such as trade settlement, collateral management, derivative management, and portfolio accounting
Experience in system selection and implementation with front-to-back systems such as BRS, Aladdin, and State Street Alpha
Experience in investment performance and risk processes and systems that help with performance measurement, attribution, risk measurement, and GIPs reporting
Experience in data management, governance, architecture, and data analytics reporting supporting investment management using systems such as Snowflake, Markit EDM, and BI Tools
Experience in client-facing processes and systems supporting distribution, marketing, client service, consultant relations, product development, client/account/product/employee masters, and client reporting functions
Experience in enterprise risk management and compliance processes such as compliance, proxy voting, and vendor management
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read an audience and diagnose a situation
Ability to work as part of a team or independently
Structured, disciplined approach to work and time management, with attention to detail
Ability to create high-quality client deliverables using MS Office Suite
Strong knowledge of portfolio accounting and performance data and vendor platforms
Strong knowledge of financial instruments and financial transaction types across asset classes
Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes and investment management data flows
Technical skills with experience in SQL, Python and data integration or ETL tools
