Responsibilities

Work as a team member on a variety of consulting engagements with CFO’s that typically involve financial & operational reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning in complex data environments

Project manage and assist with planning and implementation of data engineering projects, leveraging data warehouses, data ETL tools, and scripting languages to construct complete data pipelines for KPI reporting and dashboards that are the key drivers of forecasting models

Lead and present in weekly update meetings with clients to demonstrate progress towards the pre-defined goals of the engagement

Ability to construct 3-statement financial operating and strategic models, utilizing automation techniques is a plus

Required

At least 5 years of experience using SQL & Power BI in the workplace

Bachelor’s Degree in finance, business, economics or a technical field, such as engineering, math or computer science

Prior experience handling large data sets in data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, etc.) as well as utilizing data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Power Pivot, etc.)

Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data

Ability to dive deep into data with a bottoms-up approach, while also having an awareness of the bigger picture and the ability to produce a top-down approach simultaneously

Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators, while also being able to translate and distill data into actionable information to drive results

Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions

Relationship Management: Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, both internal and external
