Responsibilities

Edit and proofread various types of content, ensuring high-quality, error-free, and engaging materials that meet Alpha Publishing goals, quality standards, target audience, and brand identity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the content and design strategies align with Alpha Publishing goals, target audience, and brand identity.

Review program content and design for vendor implementation of our expectations, ensuring they meet Alpha Publishing standards, sensitivities and requirements. Submit summarized feedback to vendor.

Facilitate, manage, and maintain positive ongoing communication with vendors and Alpha’s internal departments through company email and alternative messaging systems.

Attend weekly team meetings with management and other departments, and support vendor through weekly meetings.

Implement and execute processes, policies, and standards in conjunction with general manager to support projects and initiatives.

Coordinate with project coordinator and manager on scheduling implications, task, and project progress.

Collaborate with senior production editor on workflow processes, editorial review tasks, production process and status.

Collaborate with content manager on editorial tasks and checklists, resource development, employee requisition and status, vendor requisition and requirements, and Alpha projects and initiatives.
