Responsibilities

Understanding and applying content guidelines in the Verizon Design System to deliver a consistent family of products.

Identifying project needs and engaging stakeholders in conversation to fully understand needs.

Thoroughly exploring, refining, and documenting content solutions.

Giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Communicating the current project plan, goals, and expected outcomes.

Working within Verizon's front-end and back-end technology constraints and capabilities.

Articulating user, business, and/or technical reasoning for detailed content decisions in critiques or presentations.

Actively researching competitive products, industry trends, and topics, and recommending activities, solutions, and methods to guide team members and stakeholders.

Contributing to recommendations for shaping appropriate user insight-gathering activities (informal or formal user testing).

Staying updated on Verizon's business, strategy, and organizational structure.

Mentoring peers and new hires by sharing experiences and processes to enable growth.

Playing a role in evolving the content guidelines in the Verizon design system by proposing updates and participating in feedback opportunities.
