Responsibilities

Create multi-format written content across the patient journey to increase trust, engagement, and retention.

Gain an in-depth understanding of our patients needs and experiences, and use that knowledge to create content that meets them where they are.

Collaborate with Pomelo’s clinical team to translate critical clinical knowledge into understandable and engaging content.

Use data-driven insights to continuously refine content strategies and optimize content performance.

Adhere to Pomelo’s brand voice and tone to ensure consistency across content.

Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Product, Product Design, and Customer Success teams to align content creation efforts with the overall marketing strategy and enhance the patient journey.

Manage contractors to support Pomelo’s content efforts as needed.

Required

7+ years of experience in content writing – ideally with experience creating content for high growth virtual care or health tech companies.

Superb writing and editing skills with a proven ability to turn complex topics into simple, digestible content.

Able to efficiently collaborate with stakeholders to create compelling content.

Familiarity with content management systems and tools for content creation and distribution.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.

Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple initiatives and contractors simultaneously.

A passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional customer touchpoints through content.

Preferred

Experience writing about maternal and infant health is preferred.

Bonus points: You have scientific writing experience and/or content experience or a background in maternal health.
