Responsibilities

Review new project orders and ensure all approvals are received before entering/setting up the order in SAP

Understand key contractual terms of the projects

Ensure SOX compliance of all project related controls

Assist project managers with updating project information in SAP

Develop close working relationship with project managers and provide financial guidance

Assist in analyzing costs and variances on projects

Monitor Revenue in Excess of Billings and Completed Contract WIP balance sheet accounts

Assist with internal/external audit requests

Drive process improvements

Learn new revenue recognition rules and ensure compliance

Develop reports to track and measure key metrics

Understand the cost flow at supporting factories to ensure accurate forecasting
