Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day advice and support other in-house attorneys on litigation, M&A and various corporate matters

Draft and review contracts, including: purchase agreements, term sheets, indications of interest, letters of intent, deal summaries, services agreements, NDAs, referral agreements, independent contractor agreements, client agreements, real estate agreements, corporate organization documents, etc

Assist in litigation strategy, review of pleadings, discovery and general case management

Conduct research, monitor legislation and case law on all aspects of the law that may effect or otherwise have implications on the Company and advise other members of the Legal team with respect to relevant changes and trends

Other responsibilities assigned as needed

Required

4-7 years of legal practice with a reputable law firm and/or in-house counsel experience

Juris Doctorate from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one U.S. state

Litigation and/or M&A experience required

Financial services experience beneficial and preferred, but not required
