Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Architecture Development : Design and implement security frameworks and architectures centered on the Protect pillar, encompassing IAM, Data Security, Platform and Application Software Security, and Threat Modeling.
Identity & Access Management (IAM) : Develop and maintain identity and access management strategies to secure client environments, ensuring strong authentication and authorization practices.
Data Security : Architect and oversee data security solutions, focusing on encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and secure data handling practices.
Platform & Application Security : Design security controls and protections for platform infrastructure and applications, including secure development and code review processes.
Threat Modeling : Lead threat modeling activities to proactively identify and mitigate risks in applications, platforms, and networks.
Compliance and Standards Alignment : Ensure security architectures are compliant with industry frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls) and are adaptable to Zero Trust and other modern security models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with teams across The Redesign Group to integrate security best practices, align security solutions, and foster a culture of security awareness and accountability.
Documentation and Reporting : Develop comprehensive documentation of security architectures, configurations, and policies, providing insight into risk mitigation and security measures.
Mentorship and Leadership : Provide guidance and mentorship to the Managed Security Services team, sharing best practices in security architecture and risk management.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field OR 4+ years of equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security architecture and the Protect pillar of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework
Strong understanding and hands-on experience with IAM, DLP, and application security tools
Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks (NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, Cloud Controls Matrix, etc.)
Experience with designing and implementing Zero Trust and advanced security architectures
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Preferred
Industry-recognized certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or architect-level certifications)
Cloud security experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure
Knowledge of scripting and programming languages for security automation
Familiarity with modern security tools for identity management, data protection, and application security
